Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies only to paid subscriptions (Premium, Featured) by advocates. The basic Free plan and client usage of the Platform are entirely free.
1. Trial & Refund Window
New Premium and Featured subscribers are entitled to a 7-day refund window from the date of first payment. If you cancel within 7 days and have not used premium features extensively, you are entitled to a full refund of the first month's fee.
2. Monthly Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are given for partial months after the 7-day window.
3. Non-refundable Situations
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Voluntary downgrade or cancellation after 7 days
- Suspension or removal due to violation of Terms of Service or Bar Council rules
- Failure to use the platform actively
- Disputes over inquiry quality or quantity (we do not guarantee a specific number of inquiries)
4. How to Request a Refund
Email billing@delhiadvocates.in with:
- Your registered email and Bar Council ID
- Payment reference / Razorpay transaction ID
- Reason for refund request
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
5. GST
All paid plans are inclusive of applicable GST. A GST invoice is generated for each payment and emailed to your registered address.
6. Disputed Charges
If you notice an unauthorised charge, contact us immediately at billing@delhiadvocates.in. We investigate within 48 hours.
